Bareback Bundy

I have Bundy in at the moment, I got him in when I get back from Tamworth just to try and teach him to bow. Well, that's going okay he's slowly getting better. Biggest problem is I can't do a lot of training right now because the only treats I have for him are sugar cubes...and I don't want to overfeed him on those!!!

Yesterday afternoon after getting a lecture from BP about having him in but not riding him, I put a bridle on him and rode around the flat bareback. He's very smart, perhaps too smart for his own good. Since he's getting treats he's started following me everywhere, while we are in the yards anyway.

What I'd love is a nice sandy roundyard so I can start trotting and cantering him bareback. I don't know what he'd think of it...or what I'd think of it for that matter...he's rather lean!!!! =S

Bareback is fun and good for your legs and balance. Have fun with it, I'm not sure you can feed a horse too many sugar cubes, I mean look at the size of the horse compared to the sugar cube. Just kidding, but I think that's the argument my horses gave me in order to get more treats.

LOL, I'm sure if you gave them a chance my horses would say the same thing! Except Rowie...she doesn't like them! =O Must think she's sweet enough already. ;D
